Friends and family are free to pledge any amount to you for your BridgeWalk. Once you register, your official BridgeWalk fundraising page will be activated, where you can direct people to pledge or donate easily online. All funds go directly to HOPE at Northwestern Memorial Foundation and since HOPE is a registered 501c3, all pledges and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
I’m excited to tell you that I will be doing the BridgeWalk 2017 this September on the Chicago River!
This means I will be walking 18 bridges across the Chicago River to help raise funds for HOPE to fight newborn HIV at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. And I could really use your support.
HOPE at Northwestern Memorial Hospital supports the Women’s HIV Program at the Infectious Disease Center at the hospital. This program is dedicated to the treatment of women with HIV or AIDS and the prevention of transmission of HIV to newborns. Since 1999, this program has effectively prevented newborn HIV resulting in over 516 healthy newborns and millions of dollars of savings in preventative medical treatment.
Each dollar you commit to my BridgeWalk goes directly to this vital program, so you know the return on your investment will be exceptional. Preventing the transmission of HIV to these babies helps save millions of dollars in medical treatment. Most importantly, you are helping give healthy babies a great start in life.
It would be wonderful if you can make a pledge of $10 per bridge; I will walk all 18! But any amount you can contribute will be deeply appreciated. Just click here to go to http://bridgewalkforhope.org/donate_sponsor.php to make your pledge safely and securely online.
I can’t tell you how much your support means to me! Thanks so much for helping me reach my goal for the BridgeWalk and for supporting HOPE at Northwestern Memorial Hospital!
